Turmeric Collagen Latte (dairy free, refined sugar free)

I don't talk about hormone supporting drinks enough. I was never really a drink person and definitely never understood the 'multiple beverage' trend. I always felt like they were packed with added sugars, calories and honestly just made me feel full and ruined my meals. There were a couple months when all I would drink was water.


Slowly, I started to test my own versions of drinks (fun fact about me: I can make ANYTHING into a healthier version). Enter my simple, anti-inflammatory, protein packed, warm, delicious Turmeric Collagen Latte Recipe that supports hormones and skin.


Why this turmeric collagen latte is hormone and skin friendly:



Turmeric - contains an anti-inflammatory compound called curcumin, which helps lower chronic inflammation—one of the root causes of hormonal imbalances and skin issues like acne and dullness. It also supports liver detox, which is crucial for healthy hormone metabolism.


Cinnamon - Helps regulate blood sugar levels, which is key for balanced hormones—especially if you struggle with PMS, PCOS, or breakouts. Stable blood sugar = fewer insulin spikes, which means less testosterone and less hormonal acne. Bonus: it adds natural sweetness.

INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp honey

pinch of black pepper

  • Add all ingredients to a small pot.

  • Heat on medium, whisking constantly to dissolve spices & create foam

until it's warm.

  • Pour in glass and top with more cinnamon, if desired.
