Peaches are finally in season and I couldn't be happier. There is just something so magical about biting into a juicy, sweet peach. But you know what's even better? Peach crisp.
This one is mini — perfect for one, or two if you’re in a sharing mood.
Dairy-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free to support hormones and keep inflammation in check.
Why This Peach Crisp is Hormone-Friendly:
This isn’t just a treat — it’s nourishment. Every ingredient was chosen with hormone balance in mind. Here’s how this peach crisp supports your body and skin from the inside out:
Peaches - Peaches are rich in antioxidants and fiber, which can help fight inflammation and support healthy estrogen metabolism through digestion.
Maple Syrup - Pure maple syrup is unrefined and lower glycemic than most other sweeteners which can help avoid blood sugar spikes and prevent inflammation. Plus, it contains trace minerals like zinc and manganese, which are needed for hormone production.
Lemon - Supports liver detoxification - the liver is key for clearing excess estrogen from the body. Lemons can also aid digestion by stimulating production of bile and enhancing nutrient absorption. Better nutrient absorption can help with proper hormone production and regulation.
Tapioca/Arrowroot Starch - Naturally gluten-free thickeners that are gentle on digestion — a happy gut = happy hormones.
Cinnamon - Can help regulate blood sugar and reduce insulin resistance, which is often a root issue in hormone imbalances like PCOS.
Rolled Oats - Full of fiber and beta-glucans, which can help stabilize blood sugar and keep you full and satisfied.
Almond Flour - A source of magnesium and healthy fats, both of which are essential for hormone production and stress regulation.
Coconut Sugar - A more natural alternative to refined sugar with a lower glycemic impact which can be helpful for keeping cortisol and insulin stable.
Coconut Oil - Contains MCTs that can help support metabolism and hormone production, plus it’s anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial.
